Carta is pleased to announce the product launch of a new suite of innovative virtual card products, which will be brought to market by Prepaid Financial Services (PFS) and issued by Transact Network Limited (TNL).

Virtual prepaid cards allow cardholders the ability to undertake E-commerce transactions without the perceived risk of using their credit or debit cards. To be able to shop on-line without sharing your financial details provides peace of mind together with the significant cost benefits that shopping on-line frequently gives. Virtual cards also provide a speedy and efficient way of long distance gifting without the delay and cost of traditional mail.

“I am excited about the areas that Virtual cards open up for our customers and look forward to the creativity that the prepaid issuers bring to bear. The PFS offering is a great example of leveraging the product to fulfil a business need that provides customer incentives for on-line spend quickly and efficiently using virtual prepaid cards,” said Keith Hobbs, MD Carta Europe.

Noel Moran, CEO of Prepaid Financial Services, added: “We are delighted to partner with Carta in the launch of our virtual card product, which is available in three currencies; GBP, EUR and USD. Our product is aimed towards the corporate sector where the virtual card can be used to offer incentives to existing customers or provide an on-line spend capability for new corporate customers. Early next year the solution will be rolled out as a consumer offering allowing greater flexibility for secure on-line spend. We also offer a branded version of the Virtual card product for corporate entities. We look forward to developing this product with Carta over the coming months.” said Noel Moran CEO of Prepaid Financial Services.

Adding support for the new launch, Kriya Patel, Sales Director, Transact Network commented: “The European virtual prepaid card market is rapidly expanding. Transact Network is looking forward to maximising its growth in this area through the new partnership between PFS and Carta.”
